FORD MOTOR COMPANY SPONSORED EVENTS EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2012
Sunday, July 22
9 p.m. Ford Motor Company presents the
Fly-In Theater – “633 Squadron” (1964, rating N/A) and memorial
for Cliff Robertson. The first aviation film to be shot in color and
Panavision wide screen, the film features a fictitious British
fighter-bomber squadron assigned to knock out a German rocket
fuel factory that is part of the Nazi effort to launch rockets on
England. Starring Cliff Robertson, George Chakiris and Maria
Perschy.

p.m. Cruisin’ Legends Collector Car Show – Hot Rod Heaven
features pristinely restored Ford Motor Company legendary hot rod
vehicles. Cruisin’ Legends will be host to the Dyno Challenge and
Model T rides. In the Dyno Challenge, attendees showcasing their
vehicles will have the opportunity to see whose vehicle displays
the best ET, horsepower and top speed. (On Knapp Street, across

Over Tokyo” (1944, rating N/A). In the wake of Pearl Harbor, a
young lieutenant leaves his expectant wife to volunteer for a
secret bombing mission, which will take the war to the Japanese
homeland. Starring Spencer Tracy, Van Johnson and Robert Walker.

Cruisin’ Legends Collector Car Show – Hot Rod Heaven features

Company presents the Fly-In Theater – “Mission: Impossible - Ghost
Protocol” (2011, rated PG-13). The IMF is shut down when it's
implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and
his new team to go rogue to clear their organization's name.
Starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg. David Ellison,
executive producer of “Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol,”
will introduce the film and show trailers for two of his upcoming
films.

Tails” (2012, rated PG-13). A crew of African American pilots in
the Tuskegee training program, kept mostly on the ground during
World War II due to segregation, is called into duty under the
guidance of Col. A.J. Bullard. Starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Gerald
McRaney and David Oyelowo. Introduced by Edsel B. Ford II, member
of Ford’s Board of Directors, Director/Producer George Lucas and
several Tuskegee Airmen.

Fry. Star Trek follows the brash James T. Kirk as he tries to

check, as a vengeful, time-traveling Romulan creates black holes to
destroy the Federation one planet at a time. Starring Chris Pine,

Company presents the Fly-In Theater – “The Great Waldo Pepper”
(1975, rated PG). A biplane pilot who had missed flying in WWI
takes up barnstorming and later a movie career in his quest for
the glory he had missed, eventually getting a chance to prove
himself in a film depicting the dogfights in the Great War.
Starring Robert Redford, Bo Svenson and Bo Brundin.
